From November 23rd, 2018 (Friday), the art show “COLLECT” will be held by the leading artist of graffiti art (spray painting) and the world-renowned artist “KAZZROCK”
“KAZZROCK” began production in the late 1980s and participated in the CBS (cant be stopped) graffiti art group on the West Coast based in Los Angeles Midtown. He has been designing numerous wear brands, shoe makers, sports makers, etc., both in Japan and overseas. He is also famous as a vehicle enthusiast, writing not only a column for motorcycles and bicycle magazines, but also a wide range of activities such as designing the 2018 official T-shirt for the world ’s largest custom car event “Tokyo Auto Salon”.
The art show at Santomi Center Box (Gallery) in Kyoto will be held for the first time in Kansai, and will display and sell about 20 canvas arts written for this exhibition using the fixtures of the young art unit “HOTDOG”. The On November 23rd (Friday) and 24th (Saturday), KAZZROCK will also be there.

■ KAZZROCK
From the late 1980s to the early 1990s, when graffiti art itself was not yet established in Japan, he began producing graffiti art and murals. Become the only Japanese member of CBS (cant be stopped), a graffiti art organization in West Coast based in Los Angeles Midtown.
After returning to the United States, he held his first solo exhibition in Harajuku in early 1990. From the mid-90s to the late 90s, he started column series in street fashion magazines and motorcycle / car custom magazines. Designed in collaboration with wear brands, sneaker makers, and sports makers. Around the same time, he designed artworks in various genres such as artist CD jackets, assembled garage kits, bicycles, snowboards, etc., and founded his own apparel brand “KAZZROCK ORIGINAL®” in 1998.
Currently, he is involved in a wide range of activities such as mural paintings, character production, editorial design, and magazine column writing, with several solo exhibitions and art shows.

■ HOTDOG TOKYO
Started in 2016 with KEN & SAKI unit. Based on the theme of “collector”, he creates furniture that can express various personal collections as art. Works with materials centered on industrial products such as iron, wood, stainless steel, glass and acrylic. In the future, we will produce original fixtures and furniture that are more originality, and will also work with order styles.
